SAD (seasonal affective disorder): What is it & Why Should I Care?

seasonal affective disorder has me feeling like...

I often get asked about SAD and more specifically ....

"what is it?"

"do I have it?"

"what should I look out for?"

"how are the winter months harder for me?"

SAD is a seasonal depression impacting individuals during the months with less sunlight, it affects women more than men, it can impact individuals between the ages of 15-55, it can cause low mood/depression, anxiety, loss of interest(s), lack of energy/motivation, poor sleep, weight changes & more during the gloomier months....

It is real and it is hard. Talk with a professional, learn tools to help yourself through the season, have a safe place to talk about what's going on. It helps significantly, I know first hand ♥.

If you feel you or someone you love experiences low mood/depression/anxiety in the winter months, please reach out to learn more, to get support and get ahead of the winter blues!

You've got this!
